School Site Council

What is the School Site Council?

The School Site Council (SSC) is a state-mandated, elected group of parents, teachers and school employees who work with our principal to develop, review and evaluate Willard’s yearly budget and school improvement programs.

The School Site Council is responsible for reviewing and analyzing student achievement data, developing and approving the school site budget and academic plan (“Single Plan for Student Achievement”), monitoring the implementation of the plan and the budget, and gathering input from our school community.

Members of the School Site Council are elected by their peers and serve on the committee for two years.
